GST Calculator

Contact

GSTCalc is run by one person, so email is the fastest route. Write to contact@gstcalc.in and you will usually get a reply within a few days.

Reporting an incorrect GST rate

These get fixed first. To make that quick, please include:

  • The item name exactly as it appears on the rate list or in the calculator's search.
  • The rate shown, and the rate you believe is correct.
  • A source if you have one — a CBIC notification number, a GST Council press release, or an invoice showing the rate charged.

A source is not required to report something, but it does mean the correction can go live the same day rather than waiting on verification.

Reporting a bug

Useful details: which browser and device, what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. If a calculation came out wrong, the exact amount and slab you entered helps most.

Using the calculator on your site

The embeddable widget is free to use, including commercially, and needs one line of code. If it does not fit your layout or you need something it does not do, say so — that feedback shapes what gets built.

Work and collaboration

For development work, collaboration or hiring enquiries, the collaborate page has a short form and more context on what I build.

What this is not

GSTCalc cannot give tax advice. Questions about your own filing, a specific invoice, a notice you have received, or how to classify your goods need a qualified tax professional — a chartered accountant or GST practitioner. Sending those details here will not get them answered, and it means sharing personal financial information you do not need to share.
