3. Local Storage

We use the browser's localStorage API to remember your preferences between visits:

  • gstcalc_dark: Your dark mode preference
  • gstcalc_tip_dismissed: Whether you've dismissed the tip jar modal

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

4. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve the calculator experience. GA4 sets a _ga cookie to distinguish users and may collect:
